If you guys have been following along my Instagram accounts @eatthecapital and @dannygrubs, you probably seen in my stories what my mama been whippin' up in the kitchen! Some 🔥 Korean food with the help of my grandma, who calls herself a country grandma from Korea lol.

I made a video for you guys with a step by step tutorial on how to make this Korean Spicy Soft Tofu Stew so check it out below, and follow along with the ingredients and recipes below the video:
STEPS
1. Make the Red Hot Chili Oil
- Low heat
- In a bowl-shaped pan or wok, after heating, pour in oil of choice
- Cut up your garlic
- Mix in Korean Chili Powder and Chili Pepper Flakes
- Refer to the video to see what consistency should look like before next step
2. Meat
- Bump to medium heat
- Next step is to put in your meat of choice into the red hot chili oil cooking in the pan (we used shrimp)
- Mix up the meat with the chili oil
- DO NOT cook your meat all the way through. For shrimps, you only want it halfway cooked since it will cook throughout the rest of the cooking process
3. Veggies
- We like to do a mix of onions, mushrooms, and zucchinis. Whatever you use, just chop it up how you like, ready for tossing into the pan
- Mix these veggies with everything in the pan
- Cut up green onions and hot green pepper for topping the dish off after cooking
4. Soft Tofu
- To serve 7 people, we used 4 soft tofu cases. You'll see in the image that after you put the tofu in, it'll look like a lot but it's not. This is normal.
- After putting the soft tofu into the pan, let it boil for 10 minutes

5. Three Things to Top it Off
- Green Onions
- Hot Green Pepper
- Splash of fish sauce
ENJOY!
